The Harnack Lancaster Award for Excellence in Innovation was established in 2006 by Barbara Harnack and Michael Lancaster through the New Mexico Potters & Clay Artists to support growth and innovation in outstanding ceramic artists by awarding $200 to artists at annual exhibitions, such as the "2007 Celebration of Clay," held in Albuquerque, NM.
